House washing FAQs

Request My Quote
What is the difference between soft washing and pressure washing?

Pressure washing uses high water pressure and suits hard surfaces like concrete. Soft washing uses lower pressure with cleaning solutions, and is generally preferred for siding and other delicate surfaces. We match the method to your home's surfaces.

Will house washing damage my siding?

Applied incorrectly, high pressure can damage siding, trim, or seals. That's why we ask about your siding material and condition first and confirm the right approach before we start.

Can you remove black streaks, mold, and algae from siding?

Green or black buildup on siding is very common in Michigan, especially on shaded sides of a home. Tell us what you're seeing, ideally with a photo, and we'll talk about what cleaning can do.

Is house washing safe for plants and pets?

Let us know about gardens, landscaping, and pets near the walls. We plan around them and recommend keeping pets inside during the wash.

How often should a house be washed?

Many homeowners wash their house about once a year, often in spring or early summer. Shaded, wooded, or lakeside homes may need it more often.

Do I need to be home during the cleaning?

Not always. For exterior-only work, many customers aren't home, as long as gates, water access, and pets are sorted out ahead of time. Interior cleaning requires someone to let the team in. We confirm the plan with you before the visit.

Can I combine house washing with window cleaning?

Yes. Many customers book both together, and choosing both on one quote request lets us plan a single visit.
